S2L

Step Up to Leadership

Our Step Up to Leadership (S2L) program is a paid summer internship, a 10-12 week learning experience for college sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Through S2L, you’ll receive exposure to impactful work and dynamic responsibilities that provide you with valuable insights and experience. You’ll be Aramark’s boots on the ground, rolling up your sleeves and working alongside leaders to learn the ins and outs of your location’s operation. The S2L program also gives you access to resources and supportive mentors that help improve your resume and provide a solid foundation for a promising career.

In addition to receiving great leadership training, you’ll have the opportunity to jump into our full-time Accelerate to Leadership (A2L) program when you graduate. The S2L Program has diverse career paths that are designed to help you build the right skills needed to develop as a leader.

A2L

Accelerate to Leadership

If you’re a recent graduate or are about to graduate, Accelerate to Leadership (A2L) is the program for you! After graduation, A2L provides you with the resources you need to unleash your full potential and launch an accelerated career path to a leadership role within Aramark. With four unique career paths to chose from – across Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Culinary Management, and Corporate & Functional Support – the A2L Program offers flexibility and a powerful commitment to your professional development.

A2L takes a dynamic “learn-by-doing” approach where you receive hands-on training and a depth of people management experience right away. By managing the day-to-day operations of a client account or one of our many business units, you’ll develop real business and leadership know-how. Throughout the year, you’ll network with peers and grow both personally and professionally, all while immersing yourself in the diverse culture at your location.

Aramark Emerging Leaders Program

As part of our commitment to providing equal employment and career growth opportunities, Aramark proudly partners with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the nation's largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community.

Our Emerging Leaders Program is geared towards select Juniors and Graduating Seniors from HBCUs, and it includes an immersion trip to our Philadelphia headquarters and placement in our S2L or A2L development programs.
