Senior Regional Business Manager - IPS Rebates

Job Description

The IPS Rebates Senior Regional Business Manager (RBM) is a sales and business professional in the K12 School Foodservice segment. This role manages business requirements, meets sales targets for the West region, and functions as a senior member of the team, supporting the Vice President with administrative and communication tasks.   Responsibilities include cultivating sales prospects, nurturing existing member relationships, and creating and reporting business results. The RBM will plan and coordinate tradeshows in the West region, represent the IPS Rebates brand, and promote IPS benefits within the K12 market. Strong sales planning, customer care, relationship building, and collaboration skills are essential. The RBM will work within a team of four regions (West, Central, South, East) alongside other stakeholders.  The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate a strong desire to advance in the organization into a sales leadership role. 

Job Responsibilities

Sales: 

  • Target, prospect, sell, and implement the IPS Rebates program for new K12 members.
  • Leverage prospecting resources including target lists, regional analysis, tradeshow attendance, referrals, and existing K12 relationships to achieve sales objectives. 
  • Define sales targets and goals to create and manage a robust sales pipeline, using Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate sales and service leadership and prospect/member engagement from initial contact to successful conclusion via signing of a Letter of Participation. 
  • Consistently manage and report business results.
  • Demonstrate personal ownership of member relationships through consistent communications, account management, business reviews and referral programs.  
  • Collaborate with internal Operations teams to ensure all enrollment details are completed and updated.

 

Member Retention and Engagement: 

  • Nurture the top 25-50 largest customers in the region using communication tools, marketing campaigns, and manufacturer resources.
  • Engage with the local School Nutrition Association Chapter and attend local meetings to connect with members.
  • Conduct customer-focused business reviews to address member objectives and foster collaboration.
  • Plan State SNA conferences in the defined region. Manage registrations and attend conferences.  
  • Promptly address member tasks in Salesforce as assigned.

 

Senior Team Member Management Tasks:

  • Assemble and present sales team results each month. 
  • Lead sales team meetings as needed. 
  • Represent the needs and requests of the sales team to Leadership. 
  • Actively engage in Sales Leadership Development in preparation for future roles. 

 

Collaboration and Creativity:

  • Present insights and ideas to continuously improve member satisfaction.
  • Share industry and market insights with the Sales and Marketing Directors and IPS internal teams.
  • Demonstrate an enterprise approach, understanding how each IPS team member contributes to organizational success.

 

Work Environment:

  • This position operates in a remote office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, meeting cameras, and phones. Limited storage for IPS banners and sales collateral is required.
  • Some travel (driving and flying) is necessary. The candidate must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and independently transport and set up a tradeshow booth.

 

Travel Requirements

  • 20% overnight travel for tradeshows and meetings.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills:

  • Minimum (5) years of sales experience in the K12 Foodservice business segment. 
  • Team leadership experience
  • Ability to connect and collaborate with fellow team members
  • Exhibit awareness of executive presence and professionalism.  
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of accurately and concisely reporting business results. 
  • Ability to inspire trust, build alliances and influence decision-makers both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • High degree of written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in telephone and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work autonomously on assigned projects and escalate issues as they arise.

  • Willingness to take a communication/strengths assessment as part of the interview process.  

Benefits

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $85,000-100,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of the posting. 

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
