Job Description

The Director OpX, Culinary Talent Development, as a member of the Operational Excellence team, works collaboratively to support OpX strategic initiatives.  The major (but not exclusive) focus of this role will be in the areas of Culinary Talent Development – including recruiting, onboarding, training & resources, and career development of Aramark culinary talent across the US Sector.  This position collaborates extensively with LOB OpX leaders, culinary leaders and operations teams as well as all HQ functional support groups.

Job Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

  • Maintains a leadership role within the Culinary Council to collaboratively set priorities with the LOBs.
  • Establishes a community of culinary leaders across the sector who can provide expertise and/or direct support to strategic initiatives.
  • Works with other OpX and Hospitality Enablement resources to support and coordinate culinary-related initiatives.
  • Supports other OpX and Hospitality needs as required.
  • Works with a mentality of streamlining processes and removing obstacles for field operators.
  • Completes special projects and/or additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the OpX Business Process Sr. Director. The position works closely with the Operational Excellence team, Line of Business OpX Teams, Operations teams, external vendors and a range of other Aramark business and support personnel.

Qualifications

  • Culinary background preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated project management skills required.
  • Strong analytic and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Creative, as well as flexible in attitude and style to adapt to feedback-based solutions in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment and evolving organization.
  • Ability to think creatively and approach a wide variety of issues or projects from new angles.
  • Position can be remote, but will require travel to HQ and other locations as needed.
