Job Description

Aramark is seeking an Employee Resource Group (ERG) coordinator focused on a positive and welcoming culture, coordinating ERG activities and initiatives, and creating protocols to help with efficiency, alignment, and achievement of annual priorities.

 Reporting to the Senior Manager of Inclusive Practices, the ERG coordinator will lead the administrative activities of Aramark’s 11 ERG umbrella groups and dozens of related hubs supporting approximately 5,000 members.  You will be responsible for the ERG infrastructure to ensure timely updates, provide budget guidance, onboard new ERG leaders, facilitate umbrella group meeting planning, and initiatives focused on recruitment, membership growth, professional development, and business alignment.
 

Here you'll get to (areas of responsibility):

• Serve as the ERG liaison for the DEI team to ensure alignment and integration of ERG planning and implementation with DEI strategic priorities.
• Act as the ERG point of contact to coordinate administrative tasks, such as maintenance of the ERG event calendar, ordering/storage of ERG promotional items, provide input on  event themes and initiatives, and triage ERG leadership/committee questions appropriately.
• Have oversight of the yearly ERG budget and spend by tracking expenses against budget, reconciling variances as required, coordinating quarterly budget reviews and summarizing year end spending.
• Build relationships with ERG executive sponsors and other key stakeholders to maintain open lines of communication with ERG leaders, especially concerning executive participation in ERG events.
• Facilitate the partnership between Communications/Community Relations and DEI to produce global ERG events, ensuring timely and efficient planning.
• Maintain processes and systems that facilitate timely input of ERG activities into our membership database/landing page and updating of the global DEI calendar.
• Manage and enhance the ERG membership database to provide relevant data, analysis, and recommendations for ongoing ERG enhancements.
• Support the planning of ERG forums.
• Onboard new ERG leaders and Executive Sponsors.
• Support yearly ERG award nominations and external conference attendance.
• Ongoing research and networking with external ERG coordinators to identify leading practices to optimize ERG impact.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience.
• 2+ years' experience as a diversity and inclusion practitioner with demonstrated business results working with employee networks.
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity with a focus on intersectionality: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation and other differences that make us unique.
• Fosters teamwork and collaboration across a wide range of teams.
• Manages conflict and solves problems effectively.
• Forward-thinking, detailed-oriented, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Canva, Smartsheet, Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong project management skills to handle complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information.
• Ability to works across different functions and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
