Job Description

About Lake Powell:
Lake Powell is the second largest man-made lake in the United States & is the ultimate playground! Over two million people visit each year to view the iconic landscape of sandstone arches, canyons, & winding waterways. The crystal-clear waters are home to water sports like boating, kayaking, paddleboardng, & rafting. Instagrammable points of interest include Antelope Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, & Horseshoe Bend.  

 

The Dock Supervisor is responsible for ensuring guest happiness at the marina location by navigating vessels, assisting guests with boat operations, accurately maintaining the dock area(s), and providing general customer service.  Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. 

 

Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Early April - Late October 2025
Housing: Employee housing is available

Job Responsibilities

•    Running Day to Day Warehouse floor operations
•    Inventory control/management utilizing customer warehouse management systems
•    Run and build scrap processes to maintain lean outlook
•    Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies by regular review of inventory parameter
•    Scheduling and communicating customer trucking needs daily
•    Helped Process daily paperwork, updating Warehouse Management system
•    Running daily activity reports and putting together shipments
•    Conduct root cause analysis for shipping/storage issues and define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence
•    Participate in regular business and performance reviews with customer
•    Play a  meaningful role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
•    Ensuring plant operations are in line with customer needs
•    Report all needed facility maintenance
•    Keep updated and well-maintained facility records
•    Manage Preventive/Corrective maintenance program
•    Coordinate contractors onsite (pre-task setup and roll outs)
•    Report to GM Leadership Team daily
•    Manage and maintain safety records

Qualifications

•    Computer Skills: Must have advanced Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    High level of organization skills and customer service
•    Strong knowledge of Logistics systems
•    Required Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
