Special Event Flex-time Stand Worker - Toyota Field

Job Description

Join us for an enchanting holiday experience at San Antonio’s inaugural Coca-Cola Enchant event! We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to provide exceptional service in our concession stands. The Flex-time Stand Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing a memorable guest service experience. Availability to work key holiday dates: the day before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, along with 3-5 shifts per week, is key. Adheres to established food safety, food handling, alcohol service and sanitation procedures.  Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Additionally, as a team member in the Aramark Flex program, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts that fit your schedule using ReadyOn, a flex workforce app. Pick and choose which events you are interested in working, without fixed schedule requirements. Aramark’s flex-time roles are perfect for candidates who value flexibility and are comfortable signing up week-to-week. Wages may vary based on role or event needs, but will always be at or above the base rate in your offer letter.

Job Responsibilities

•    Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. 
•    Takes food orders and serves guests. Skillfully upsell seasonal specials to enhance guest enjoyment. 
•    Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
•    Properly stores food by applying food safety policies and procedures 
•    Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
•    Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations 
•    Serves food to guests while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the guests’ needs 
•    Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels 
•    Maintains excellent service, positive demeanor, friendly, efficient, and positive service towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc. 
•    Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation 
•    Ensures security of company assets
•    Maintains and implements the Aramark alcohol policy 
•    Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Scheduling for this position will be managed through a flex workforce app, ReadyOn, in which shifts will be made available for you to select. There is no minimum guaranteed hours per week and hours will not exceed 25hrs/wk average annually.

Qualifications

•    Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record in a similar role
•    Must be able to obtain food safety certification

•    Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lb.
•    May be required to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
•    Will be required to obtain or provide a copy of your current, unexpired TABC certification at locations that serve and sell alcohol
•    May be required to complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
•    Previous Guest Service experience is a plus
•    Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays

•  Comfortable working shifts from 4 PM to approximately 11 PM in an outdoor setting from November 22-December 29.
