Job Description

The AP Senior Assistant should be a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual requiring minimal supervision to produce an excellent degree of accuracy with assigned tasks and processes and able to multi-task. The ideal candidate would be able to communicate effectively with internal and external persons related to Aramark US and Canada as well as able to keep up a heavy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Responsibilities

•    Ability to process various invoice batches and uploads for US and Canada, provide accurate support for audit requests.
•    Process incoming department mail as needed.
•    Review/reconcile statements, ability to resolve problems and issues quickly and accurately within our ticket system.
•    Ensure that all transactions comply with Aramark’s financial policies and procedures.
•    Identify and recommend improvements to existing systems and procedures related to the 
•    Work in Oracle AP to enter data, force out invoices, cancel invoices and other daily processes.
•    Be cross-trained as backup for other team members.
•    Support process to timely work to meet departmental metrics.
•    Other AP tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

•    High school degree or equivalent required but some college a plus.
•    Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
•    Strong data entry accounting skills, and flexibility.
•    2-4 years of experience
•    Strong problem solving/analytical and technical accounting skills, creativity and flexibility.
•    Knowledge of Oracle Financials is preferred, but not required.
