The Assistant Catering Manager with the Philadelphia Zoo assists the Senior Catering Manager in the daily functions, upkeep and maintenance of the catering department.
•Previous catering & food service experience required
•Must be able to obtain food safety certification
•Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills
•Basic accounting knowledge and experience managing inventory required
•Demonstrated organizational skills to improve efficiency
•Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes
•Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
•Demonstrates excellent guest service skills
•Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
