IT Field Services Director
IT Field Services Director
Job Description
The IT Field Services Director is a strategic leader responsible for helping Aramark's accounts grow profitably by ensuring technology programs are enabled effectively and issues are resolved permanently the first time - no problem twice. This role maintains close visibility into upcoming technology requests at existing accounts and serves as the first point of contact for both service issues and new work opportunities, so problems are caught early and opportunities are not missed. The IT Field Services Director builds strong relationships with key leaders at client accounts and with client Security and Enterprise IT teams, and acts as the critical liaison between the IT PMO, LOB PMO, and Enablement teams to keep technology delivery aligned with business priorities. Success in this role requires a sound understanding of the HC+ business and an in-depth understanding of how to successfully deploy technology across a multi-site field environment. This role travels approximately 30% of the time to support accounts on-site.
At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. To meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.
Job Responsibilities
- Account Growth Enablement - Ensure technology programs are enabled effectively at each account, partnering with account teams so reliable execution directly supports profitable growth of the portfolio.
- First-Time Resolution ("No Problem Twice") - Own root-cause resolution of field technology issues, ensuring recurring problems are permanently eliminated rather than repeatedly patched.
- Account Point of Contact - Serve as the first point of contact for existing accounts on both service issues and new work requests, providing timely, reliable response and escalation.
- Forward Visibility & Planning - Maintain ongoing visibility into upcoming technology requests and initiatives at existing accounts, anticipating needs and proactively positioning solutions ahead of demand.
- Executive Relationship Management - Build and maintain trusted relationships with key leaders at client accounts, positioning IT Field Services as a strategic partner.
- Client IT Partnership - Develop strong working relationships with client Security and Enterprise IT teams to streamline collaboration, approvals, and joint problem-solving.
- PMO & Enablement Liaison - Act as the primary liaison between the IT PMO, Line of Business (LOB) PMO, and Enablement teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, timelines, and resourcing across technology initiatives.
- Technology Deployment Oversight - Apply deep expertise in technology deployment to ensure new programs, tools, and platform enhancements are rolled out successfully and adopted at the account level.
- HC+ Business Acumen - Apply a sound understanding of the HC+ business to account decisions, ensuring technology programs and issue resolution are aligned with how the business operates and grows.
- Escalation & Risk Management - Serve as the senior escalation point for at-risk issues and new work at existing accounts, coordinating with the IT PMO, LOB PMO, and Enablement teams to drive timely resolution.
- Travel for the job expected approximately 30% of the time, including on-site presence at key accounts to support relationship-building, issue resolution, and new program launches.
Qualifications
- Experience - 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in IT field services, account management, or technology deployment roles, including experience supporting large, multi-site accounts.
- Sound understanding of the HC+ business, including its operating model, client relationships, and service delivery requirements.
- In-depth understanding of how to successfully deploy technology across a complex, multi-site field environment, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and change management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; PMP or similar certification preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior client leaders and with client Security and Enterprise IT teams.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a liaison across IT PMO, LOB PMO, and Enablement functions, aligning priorities and timelines across groups.
- Track record of driving first-time issue resolution and root-cause problem elimination ("no problem twice") across a multi-site account portfolio.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and consultative skills, with the ability to translate technical delivery into business value for account stakeholders.
