Job Description

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead all sales and marketing efforts at Zephyr Cove Resort, Lake Tahoe Adventures, and Adventure Mountain in Lake Tahoe. This role will drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and exceptional client service. The position is responsible for managing accounts, building client relationships, and developing marketing content to enhance visibility and engagement. The Sales & Marketing Manager will also oversee the resort’s online presence, collaborate with regional partners, and contribute to the seamless execution of events.

Job Responsibilities

Sales: 

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, focusing on recurring and new business opportunities. 

Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities to exceed revenue targets. 

Conduct proactive outreach through sales blitzes, telemarketing, and professional networking. 

Prepare and present proposals and contracts that align with client needs and objectives. 

Maintain accurate records in sales software, including contracts, client data, and activity tracking. 

 

Marketing: 

Manage and update the resort’s website with engaging and accurate content. 

Develop marketing materials, social media campaigns, and content strategies to enhance brand visibility. 

Collaborate with regional marketing partners to execute joint promotional activities. 

Monitor marketing budgets and prepare periodic reports on campaign performance. 

 

Event Coordination: 

Partner with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of booked events. 

Meet with clients to finalize event details and provide exceptional service throughout their experience. 

Participate in professional organizations to stay updated on industry trends and innovations. 

 

Leadership: 

Coordinate team activities to align with overall sales and marketing objectives. 

Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. 

Support and participate in regular business reviews and strategy meetings. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry. 

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. 

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Experience with website management, digital marketing tools, and content creation. 

Proficiency in sales and event management software. 

Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. 

A proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
