Job Description

The Marketing & Experience Specialist is a key member of the Marketing organization, who embodies a creative, organized, and detail-oriented mindset. This role supports the portfolio within Workplace Hospitality who has a passion for food, beverage, hospitality, and marketing. This role supports a Workplace Hospitality account with merchandising, marketing communications, strategy development and promotions while supporting other portfolio locations virtually.  Serving as a liaison between Workplace Hospitality culinary team and operators, the Experience Marketing Specialist ensures that client and consumers’ needs are met, while adhering to client and Workplace Hospitality standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

•    Support operation teams in the field with marketing and programming for café, catering, and pantries. Current client scope includes 6 dining locations throughout the U.S. 
•    Merchandising: ownership of the merchandising of all retail and promotional items within the café space, with a goal of increasing sales and driving more foot traffic within an area.
•    Communications: proficiency in Microsoft office systems is necessary for this role, experience in Canva a plus, as this position leads the communication aspect of signage and presentations for the client.
•    Guest satisfaction and market research: this role will lead our programming for increasing guest satisfaction through surveys & data analytics, trend development/research, and competitive pricing analysis.
•    Marketing: this role will coordinate special events, promotions, marketing collateral, media interaction, public relations, website updates, social media marketing.
•    Build relationships: this role will regularly meet with clients, organization department heads, and subgroups/community groups to describe strategic and approach to marketing new products or initiatives.
•    Client relationship: this will role connect with clients on a regular basis to present new ideas and plans for delivery on client-driven goals.

30% Travel - Primarily NC, FL, GA, VA

Qualifications

•    A minimum of 2-4 years of marketing or food service management experience, with a proven record of success and effective performance. 
•    A passion for the Hospitality industry, as well as Food and Beverage services.
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing.
•    Experience in contracted dining services and account management is a plus. 
•    Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•    A proven ability to increase sales and measure the impact/return on investment on implementation of programs
•    Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically. 
•    Must have excellent interpersonal skills including presentation, public speaking, and client interaction skills
•    Great time management skills and self-discipline, ability to ensure timely delivery of all projects and initiatives. 
•    Must be able to efficiently use MS Office products to accomplish work tasks, especially PowerPoint. 
•    Must be a team-player with a can-do attitude.
