Job Description

Aramark Sport and Entertainment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Food and Beverage Supervisor with strong administrative skills to join our team. This position combines the responsibilities of overseeing food and beverage operations at our venues with essential administrative duties to ensure efficient and effective management of our services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

 

 

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $28.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage services at assigned venues, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Supervise and train food and beverage staff, performance management, and addressing any staff-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Aramark’s policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs to optimize profitability.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery during events.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally, aiming for high customer satisfaction.
  • Supervising and supporting bartending shift as a non-tipping position in support of the opening and closing daily business.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate business needs, including working varying shifts and hours.
  • Cover any shift as needed, providing support and backup for callouts or staff shortages which includes bartender shifts as a non-tipped position.
  • Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
  • Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
  • Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis.
  • May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location.
  • Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
  • Train/mentor other food service workers.
  • Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department.
  • Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
  • Report any maintenance equipment issues to facility for repair as needed.
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking.
  • Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm they are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Be able to work on open schedule for the needs of the business.
  • Attend food service meetings with staff.
  • Maintain communication with staff (including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc).
  • May perform cashier duties as the need arises.
  • Promote good public relations.
  • Perform other duties as need and requested by the Food Service Director, or Manager(s).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage supervision, preferably in a sports or entertainment venue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with food and beverage management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules or business needs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Experience as a bartender and the ability to open and close shifts effectively.
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet event-driven business needs.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively towards team goals.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with inventory management and procurement.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Passion for the sports and entertainment industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
