Operations Finance Manager

Job Description

As the Operations Finance Manager you will support the objectives of the Accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Accounts Payable & Payroll Administration
• Assist with preparation for annual budget
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to monitor the performance areas such are labor, direct cost, revenue, expenses, and profit by area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with managers and directors to identify and drive key levers to improve margins.
• Assist with operations support as needed.
• Work with teams on budget, cost control, and forecasting.
• Accurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company’s policies and procedures are adhered to
• Processing and resolving of daily customer accounts queries and issues e.g. copying invoices/statements
• Post & allocate receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Post meals weekly
• Responsible for ongoing evaluation and enforcement of policies and procedures with regard to Credit Control Department

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge and key attributes:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in service industry combined with a system driven approach to credit control
• Have very good knowledge of Excel (crucial)
• Have experience of working with Oracle System – this would be an advantage
• Possess relevant or related financial qualification 
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Are self-motivated
• Have excellent phone manner (crucial)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance
