Job Description

Trayline Supervisor Coordinates activities of the tray line area with respect to meeting all tray line needs (cold and hot foods). Responsible for the supervision of tray line employees to ensure that appropriate quantities of food are being served.

 

Hourly Rate: $23/hr

Job Responsibilities

Supervision and Coordination:

  • Oversee the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Supervise tray line employees to ensure proper food handling and service.
  • Conduct briefings with staff to review meal details and service expectations.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Perform temperature checks of food to ensure safety and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Complete and verify food orders, manage inventory, and handle test trays.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Address tray line calls and assist with meal setups.
  • Ensure proper cleanup after meal services and maintain overall tray line area cleanliness.
  • Perform daily checks of equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for each meal service.

Administrative Duties:

  • Adhere to ARAMARK’s operational standards and policies.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor and minimize food waste.
  • Ensure the completion of the master cleaning schedule.

Additional Tasks:

  • Act as a liaison between tray line and production staff.
  • Provide necessary coverage for all tray line positions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Maintain Serve Safe certification.

 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
