Job Description

The Payroll Coordinator I position supports the Payroll Operation’s department by performing tasks related to employee/payroll payments. Duties will include processing field requests related to payroll payments. This position ensures all payments are accurately shipped via FedEx and/or processed via direct deposit in the Wells Fargo CEO portal. Additional responsibilities include performing research analysis for the field, Payment Services, and management. Must leverage all appropriate systems, and non-systems controls to ensure compliance with Aramark’s Payroll Sarbanes-Oxley policies (SOX).

Job Responsibilities

•    Uses personal computer and various Aramark systems application including, but not limited to Ultimate Software, FedEx, ServiceNow, and Well Fargo – CEO
•    Maintains all electronic archive files relating to employee payments
•    Accountable for all FedEx responsibilities for instant checks and local payrolls
•    Completes research analysis and responds to questions/concerns made by Aramark employees
•    Validate and process payment requests for employees via ServiceNow
•    Ensure payment requests are mailed appropriately via FedEx or US Postal Service
•    Conduct research in FedEx tracking system for delivery exceptions
•    Responsible for keying and verifying all direct deposit entries
•    Implement all payment requests returned from direct deposit files.
•    Reconcile end of day reporting to account for all checks entered in UltiPro.
•    Provide reports such as end of day tracking information, all instant checks printed daily, and FedEx for research purposes.
•    Research and correct accounts in UltiPro that are rejected on the Notice of Change report
•    Issue payments that were originally rejected from the Notice of Change report

•    Ability to develop relationships within the Business Service Center and with front-line employees as the need arises to provide excellent customer service
•    Ability to work independently in resolving issues proactively
•    Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & interpersonal skills are all needed to meet deadlines
•    Must be a strong teammate, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure during peak periods
•    Ability to communicate well with internal and external partners, including other locations, customers and banks
•    Flexibility to extend hours as required to meet business demands.
•    Education – High School diploma or greater
•    Strong technical skills in Microsoft office.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
