Job Description

The Housing & Recreation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all housing efforts across four properties, including cleaning, check ins, check outs, and housing inspections. They will also coordinate a recreation calendar for employees and facilitate events, town trips, etc.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

About Olympic Peninsula National Park:​

Designated by UNESCO as an International Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site, Olympic consists of several distinct ecosystems. The over 70 miles of rugged and beautiful pacific coastline, the wild, magical forests, the glacier-capped mountains and the calm lakes, make for an almost impossibly diverse and wide range of natural beauty.​

Lake Quinault Lodge is one such place. Built in 1926 and sitting above the shoreline of Lake Quinault with an expansive lawn out to the lake, the Lodge retains the turn of the century wooded feeling, with a warm and welcoming nature. The lodge includes an indoor pool, a sauna, a gift shop, and game rooms. ​

Job Responsibilities

  • The Housing & Recreation Coordinator, provides all general support of HR functions to the units in the Managers absence 
  • Will help clean employee housing at the end and beginning of the season and regularly throughout the season 
  • Coordinates housing inspections 
  • Will help check employees into and out of housing 
  • Process housing deductions in the payroll system 
  • Will coordinate and lead employee recreation events 
  • Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines 
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations 
  • Develop and advise innovative employee motivation and morale programs 
  • Responsible for day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures 
  • May be required to work nights, weekends or as business of component instruct

Qualifications

•    1-2 years in Human Resources preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred
•    Strong interpersonal and planning skills
•    Strong English verbal/written communication skills
•    A high level of guest service and an eye for detail
•    Proficient in Microsoft office programs
