Job Description

Empower Field is the home of the Denver Broncos and a wide variety of concerts and specialty events!  

 

Our FLEX team acts as our pool of "backup" workers. Anytime we do not have enough staff to fill positions for an event. We will post shifts for our FLEX time workers to pick up. This is a temporary position that helps supplement our normal base of workers. If you are interested in working the full season, please apply to our regular "Concession Cashier" position instead.  

Our FLEX-TIME cashiers are the face of our business and deliver excellent customer service by providing food and beverages to our guests! This is the position for you if you enjoy high volume & fast paced operations, providing excellent customer service, and working in food and beverage for some of the best events Denver has to offer!

 

Additionally, as a team member in the Aramark Flex program, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts that fit your schedule using ReadyOn, a flex workforce app.  Pick and choose which events you are interested in working, without fixed schedule requirements. Aramark’s flex-time roles are perfect for candidates who value flexibility and are comfortable signing up week-to-week.  Wages may vary based on role or event needs, but will always be at or above the base rate in your offer letter.

Position Type

Scheduling for this position will be managed through a flex workforce app, ReadyOn, in which shifts will be made available for you to select.  There is no minimum guaranteed hours per week and hours will not exceed 25hrs/wk average annually.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate a register/Point of sale (POS) and process Broncos Plus transactions  
  • Greet and assist customers with friendly dialogue and helpful suggestions   
  • Maintain a count on employee meal vouchers and waste for stand paperwork    
  • Be knowledgeable on menu items and prices, specialty promotions, and Broncos Plus   
  • Assists in setting up, maintaining and tearing-down a concession stand   
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned by the Stand Lead and Concessions Supervisor  
  • Ensure product in their area is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed   
  • Adhere to all alcohol service policies and food and safety guidelines  
  • Maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers   
  • Ensures security of company assets   
  • Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership

Qualifications

  • Accurately operate a register/Point of sale (POS) and process Broncos Plus transactions 
  • Previous customer service experience preferred 
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred 
  • Basic math & counting skills required 
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision  
  • Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $14.27 to $15.27, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
