Job Description

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a Clinical Manager to join us overseeing a team of dietitians at our senior living community located in Jamaica, NY. The incumbent will be responsible for the clinical nutrition operation of this facility including clinical operations, quality integration, and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate would have a passion for providing nutritional services to the elderly. 



  • No weekend work required.

  • Set 40 hour workweek with flexible start times.

  • Tuition reimbursement. 

  • Payment of CDR fees, membership to a DPG, and state licensure fees.

  • Comprehensive benefit packages including medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match.

  • COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $68,000.00 to $90,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Directs the provision of medical nutrition therapy and the nutrition care process by supervising the activities of clinical dietitians, dietetic technicians, and clerical staff including nutrition screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation, education, and menu processing according to established departmental policies.

  • Schedules clinical nutrition staff according to patient/client needs and budget allocation.

  • Addresses questions and concerns of patients and families, community members, and health professionals in accordance with evidence-based nutrition practice and critical thinking and assessment skills.

  • Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information and adherence to institutional safety practices.

  • Monitors clinical outcomes and adjusts processes to ensure evidence-based practices and improve employee and patient satisfaction.

  • Utilizes an organizationally approved nutrition care manual (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Nutrition Care Manual) and evidence analysis library source. Establishes institution-specific nutrition practice guidelines. Keeps abreast of new developments and implements new clinical practices as appropriate.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a clinical dietitian, with minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in Dietetics or related field 

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential 

  • New York state licensure as a Dietitian 

  • Familiarity with PointClickCare and MDS process is a plus
