Job Description

The Retail Sales Lead Worker oversees the work of retail associates in a store environment. Leads are in charge of monitoring employee activity, coordinating the shipping and receiving of merchandise, solving problems on a day-to-day level and assisting customers. Leads are in charge of supporting and training the sales associates and assigning the day’s work tasks. Leads ensure all preparations are completed in advance for the day ahead and that the team is on task for delivering superior guest service. Leads are expected to serve as an example for the retail associates to aspire to; continually going above and beyond, delivering outstanding customer service, and successfully resolving any guest situations that that may arise. Leads will maintain a professional and enthusiastic atmosphere even in the absence of management.

 

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $22.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the store.
  • Fulfilling the online store orders daily.
  • Sending sales reports daily.
  • Conducting transfers to sister store.
  • Highly knowledgeable about the park and surrounding areas, acting as a concierge resource for all guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service with customer engagement, leading by example.
  • Train sales associates in their role helping to develop a team of customer service focused professionals.
  • Ensure everything operates smoothly in the manager’s absence and that all customers relations issues are handled effectively.
  • Respond directly to all customers complaints and ensure they are resolved efficiently and immediately in a professional matter.
  • Must always ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere in the store.
  • Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing.
  • Assist loss prevention and report concerns.
  • Ensure correct inventory counts while receiving merchandise for the store.
  • Receive deliveries for the retail store as well as concert merchandise deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Mathematical skills are required.
  • Excellent leadership skills; approachable and able to cultivate positive rapport with employees.
  • Service-oriented and willing to help patrons.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferred.
  • Proficient with computers; Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Must be flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule that includes weekends and holidays with rotational days off.
  • Must be well groomed and always maintain a high level of professionalism.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation Data

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
