Job Description

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is currently looking for a Hospitality Manager in Kings Park, NY at the St. Johnland Nursing Center. To work closely with support service department managers to identify all resident touch points, and monitor performance relative to touch points to ensure resident satisfaction. Contribute to the overall resident satisfaction as expressed in third-party surveys. To support department managers in their daily effort in impacting the resident experience. To contribute to enhancing the overall brand of the senior living facility client and Aramark. Contribute to developing resident loyalty to senior living facility client brand in the marketplace.

Job Responsibilities

•    Perform Resident Connect interviews with residents and their families
•    Conduct Resident Connect data analysis
•    Generate and review Resident Connect data for opportunities to improve resident satisfaction
•    Train and coach others on how to effectively perform Resident Connect interviews
•    Conduct AIDET and/or W.E.S.T. Observations and Aramark service excellence standards:

  • Host/Hostesses
  • Diet Clerk (phone etiquette)
  • Front of House Associates

•    Observe New Admission Greetings
•    Coach managers on New Admission Greetings
•    Conduct Resident Experience Assessments
•    Coach Managers on Resident Experience tools
•    Attend and support in client QBR’s
•    Collaborate with the Senior Living Facility Resident Experience team; create an alignment between Food/EVS and the senior living facility Resident Experience initiatives
•    Exemplify Service Culture at all times
•    Produce Resident Satisfaction Reports
•    Participate in new employee orientations relative to resident experience expectations
•    Participate in WIG sessions as requested

•    Directly responsible for state survey readiness

•    Communication with administration

Qualifications

•    Requires at least 2+ years of experience in a management role
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
•    Strong interpersonal skills 
•    Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
•    Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
•    Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
•    Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
•    Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

COMPENSATION: The salary for this position ranges from $50,000.00 to $60,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
