Ticket Sales Reservationist - SpiritLine Cruises - Ft. Sumter - Tours

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Ticket Sales Representative to join our team at SpiritLine Cruises & Fort Sumter Tours. This is a full-time, in-person role responsible for assisting guests with ticket purchases, providing information about offerings, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment guests arrive.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with ticket purchases for harbor cruises, tours, and special events
• Provide accurate and engaging information about cruise schedules, pricing, and onboard experiences
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions, handle cash, and issue tickets
• Manage and maintain the booking system, including creating, modifying, and canceling reservations
• Monitor cruise capacity in real time to prevent overbooking and ensure accurate passenger counts
• Reconcile online, phone, and in-person bookings to ensure system accuracy
• Input customer information accurately and securely into reservation software
• Troubleshoot booking discrepancies and coordinate with management to resolve issues
• Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone in a professional manner
• Upsell additional experiences, packages, or upgrades when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming ticketing area
• Coordinate with dock staff and crew to ensure smooth boarding processes
• Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourism seasons
