Hourly Supervisor

Job Description

The Hourly Supervisor assists management by overseeing the daily operations of the location, maintains all standard operating procedures, and fosters a positive work environment. The Supervisor position is vital to overseeing the operations of the location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations, the facility is clean, and the customers are satisfied with their services.  The person in this role creates the tone and personality of the dining location by being an advocate and promoter of training and development, excellent customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies. 

Job Responsibilities

Independently oversee daily café operations
Deliver excellent customer service & resolve guest concerns in a timely & professional manner
Prepare & serve food, grab & go items, in accordance with recipes, brand standards, & safety guidelines
Maintain inventory, place orders, & manage product levels using established procedures
Ensure compliance with merchandising & operational policies
Complete required logs, reports, & documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, & organized work environment in accordance with food safety & sanitation standards
Communicates operational updates, issues, or needs to management as appropriate
Ensure correct ordering & inventory standards using par lists & ordering guides. 
Oversees the cooking & preparation of food items for the day
Report pertinent information about business operations or employee behavior to the manager
Produce & maintain work schedules, serving schedules & prepare production packets 
Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, & hazard-free environment. 
Oversee the safety and sanitation of workstations

Qualifications

•    Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions 
•    Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
•    Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
•    Ability to perform basic arithmetic 
•    Maintain emotional control under stress
•    Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
•    Strong organizational skills
