Custodial Services Lead - Core Team, Daikin Park

Lead the Team That Keeps Houston’s Ballpark Ready.

Aramark is hiring Custodial Core Leads to support morning operations at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing custodial crews and ensuring the stadium is clean, safe, and prepared for fans, events, and daily operations.

The Core Lead works alongside custodial team members while providing direction, training, and quality oversight. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for candidates with prior custodial or janitorial experience who are ready to step into a lead role.

Core Lead Assignments

Restroom Lead

• Oversee restroom cleaning crews

• Ensure proper sanitation, supply restocking, and quality standards

• Conduct inspections and correct deficiencies

• Coordinate daily assignments and maintain workflow efficiency

Sweeper Lead

• Lead concourse and seating bowl sweeping crews

• Ensure debris removal, pressure washing, and surface cleanliness

• Monitor equipment use and crew productivity

• Conduct area inspections and address cleaning gaps immediately

Job Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a custodial team and leads all aspects of completion of tasks
• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience required
• Previous experience in a supervisory or related role preferred
• Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guest needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
