Custodial Team Members - PETCO Park - Facility Services

Job Description

Aramark is hiring Custodial Team Members to support Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. These roles are inside a professional baseball stadium and support games, concerts, and major events.

This is a hands-on cleaning role in a fast-paced, exciting environment. You will help keep the ballpark clean, safe, and ready for fans. We offer multiple shift options, so you can choose what works best for your schedule. The Hourly rate for this position is between $21.06 to $24.06, depending on experience and availability.

Shift Options and Schedules

This role includes multiple shift options. Assignments are based on event schedules and availability.

Day Crew – Pre-Event Cleaning

• Regular days: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Day games do have 2:40 AM – 3:00 AM start time

  • Day games occur 2–5 times per month

Event Crew – During Games & Events

• Night games: 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM start

• Day games: 9:15 AM start

Night Crew – Post-Event Cleaning

• Night games: 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM start

• Day games: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM start

Compost Sorter (Available on All Shifts)

• Sort waste into compost, recycling, and landfill

• Supports stadium sustainability efforts

• Standing role with repetitive motion

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $21.06 to $24.06. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary by event. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning public areas, restrooms, seating areas, suites, and concourses

• Picking up trash and debris throughout the stadium

• Emptying trash, recycling, and compost bins

• Sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and basic detail cleaning

• Assisting with pre-event and post-event cleaning

• Using basic cleaning tools and equipment

• Following safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guests’ needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
