Quality Assurance Manager - Lake Tahoe

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all external and internal regulatory and safety compliance requirements are met for our Guests, Forest Service, DOT, Holman Insight/GMS Systems, Local/State Governments and internal Aramark requirements. The QA Manager will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. An excellent QA Manager has eyes like a hawk, with a goal to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to long-term success of our business. 

Job Responsibilities

Implement and maintain granular SOPs per department by inspecting & documenting processes 

Implement and maintain tracking of all required licenses, permits and certification in each department property wide. 

Implement and maintain tracking of all required training per department/employee 

Holman/DOT compliant system consistently updated for risk and safety compliance 

Review Deferred Maintenance and other Work Order lists. Discuss any deficiencies on these lists and make the appropriate revisions necessary.  Track progress on timely completion of these items. 

Produces all necessary reports from the CMMS to track contract compliance 

Develops and tracks logs and reports that are deliverable to all county and state agencies as required (Forest Service, Holman, Local, State and Federal) 

Holman Fleet Administration – track large volume of assets, ensuring timely update of daily activities of each asset – maintenance/repairs/lease dates 

Work with Performance Excellence Team with onsite projects as needed 

Daily Work Order Audit for accuracy & costing out parts used for accurate accounting 

Daily review of MS3/CMMS system for accuracy and updating in all compliance areas 

Keep the facility library on MS3 up to date with all documentation for compliance, licenses, training, certifications, environmental, risk etc. 

Staying current on laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all areas 

Oversee quality assurance team & Supervisor for Service Writer position 

Train employees on quality procedures as needed 

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical individuals. 

Ability to read contracts.  

Demonstrate skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. 

Responsible for ensuring regulatory, customer, and company requirements are met 

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. 

Establish a pattern of internal audits and develop corrective action plans and monitor the results of plans as necessary 

Review programs at least annually and identify gaps in compliance 

Knowledge of operating practices of preventive maintenance 

Strong managerial skills 

Commitment to safety and quality 

Ability to effectively present information to management,  

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
