Job Description

About Signal Mountain Lodge:

Experience the mountain air & rugged terrain in Grand Teton National Park! Nestled between the shores of Jackson Lake & the peaks of the Grand Teton, there’s so much to offer at Signal Mountain Lodge. There is something for everyone here including guided fishing tours, scenic float trips, kayaking, hiking, shopping, & so much more. There is also a vast ecosystem of plants & animals that flourish throughout the area. 

This is a seasonal campground host position that requires an RV or trailer. 

Season Dates: June 9th, 2025 - September 11th, 2025

 

The Camp Host I will act as a lead in personal interpretation of cultural, historical, and natural resources while providing support to guests in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • The campground hosts will greet guests and provide an orientation on all safety, basic etiquette, area regulations, safety procedures, resource protection
  • Use Recreation.gov management site to assist guests, run daily reports, and make sales. 
  • Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of all facilities and campsites. 
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety of guests.
  • Adhere to National Park Service and Signal Mountain Lodge environmental stewardship policies and educate guests on these initiatives.
  • Responsible for communication in emergency situations in a remote environment. This includes being the guests' first point of contact during after-hours emergencies. 
  • Be aware of Safety Data Sheets as applicable, and be able to use this information when necessary
  • Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensures security of company assets and a safe work environment through daily maintenance and housekeeping
  • Works in conditions that involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures
  • Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

Qualifications

  • Training in First Aid and CPR protocols. This training will be provided if need be. 
  • Multi-lingual skills a plus  
  • Sit, stand and walk for varied amounts of time.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be available to work flexible hours

 This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role also requires uniforms and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
