Job Description

The Operations Manager oversees and directs all activities, ensuring compliance with Aramark and client standards. The role focuses on achieving and surpassing operational goals, client objectives, and customer needs, while delivering the contracted services. The manager establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations and maintenance.

  • Assist in managing vendor costs and expense budgets.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure high levels of execution and compliance.
  • Utilizes data insights to gain client support and drive impactful operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory standards, translating corporate strategy into frontline operational tactics.
  • Maintain effective communications and business relationships with clients, internal business partners and third-party service providers.
  • Utilize Aramark Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to support operations.
  • Lead team development, ensuring high performance, optimal staffing, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee the training, development, and performance management of associates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Integrated Facilities Management.
  • Willingness to travel (possible 15%).
  • Working knowledge of facility-related trades such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC/R systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate visionary leadership, balanced judgment, and disciplined execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to prioritize time and resources effectively.
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate business performance and concerns effectively to clients of all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively manages internal labor and third-party service providers to ensure the delivery of all operational obligations.
  • Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to lead directly and through influence.
