Reporting to the line of business President & CEO, the Regional Vice President will preside over the entirety of the region, overseeing all operational aspects.
About the Role
The RVP is accountable for the successful execution of the General Management Agenda, including driving growth in their respective region, capturing costs and productivity, meeting and exceeding financial targets, and inspirational leadership. This leader identifies innovative solutions to the unique complexities of our client’s needs, partnering with both internal and external partners to deliver these solutions. Additionally, the RVP drives long-term strategic plans, including the implementation of operating tactics and competitive financial margins, leading the execution of these strategies from an operational perspective. Most importantly, the Regional Vice President will provide leadership to recruit and motivate a high-performance team.
Specific Responsibilities
The Regional Vice President’s responsibilities include:
• Pursuing new revenue streams and evaluating their value, continuously assessing opportunities to enhance profitability, improving margins, and establishing a sustainable holistic competitive advantage that accounts for both operations and driving excellent client relationships.
• Inspirational leadership and recruitment through coaching, motivation, and mentorship that builds an effective cross-functional team.
• Actively participating in strategic planning, development of competitive financial margins, and quality audits to ensure operational excellence across the regional portfolio.
• Creating efficient and timely quality metrics to ensure accountability and drive performance.
• Leveraging internal resources and collaborating with internal teams – such as Client Services, Growth & Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and others – to achieve objectives.
• Continuously enhancing team culture by prioritizing service excellence and fostering engagement through customer satisfaction and employee resources.
The Regional Vice President is an entrepreneurial and inspirational leader, demonstrating high personal integrity and interpersonal skill that empowers others to achieve and deliver results. They have a passion, energy, and enthusiasm for building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal partners alike and always maintain professionalism to represent Workplace Hospitality in its very best light.
The Person - Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate has 10+ years of general management experience with P&L responsibilities (ideally exceeding $150 million), as well as executive experience in leading operations, preferably with a history of managing within a matrix environment and having a responsibility for cross-functional employees.
A proven ability to create and execute growth strategies is essential, accompanied by a history of cultivating client relationships focused on revenue generation. The Regional Vice President must establish the credibility needed to lead a team of seasoned managers in achieving operational excellence and delivering outstanding client service. Additionally, experience in managing multi-functional teams across diverse geographies is highly desirable.
• Inspire and motivate employees at all levels, including direct reports, account managers, and hourly associates.
• Collaborate with indirect resources to enhance partnerships, share information, and utilize skills across the division and other business lines.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects while ensuring the retention of existing clients within the Aramark portfolio.
• Effectively communicate the organization’s strategic goals and objectives clearly and confidently at all levels.
• Understand the long-term business and financial implications of day-to-day decisions, and proactively identify potential opportunities and challenges.
• Articulate a Compelling Vision and direction that inspires others to follow.
• Demonstrate a passion for understanding trends and practices impacting the industry and marketplace.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field required
