Job Description

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Resident Experience to lead and expand our engagement and hospitality initiatives across all managed communities. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing standards of excellence, enhancing resident experience, and fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.  This is a remote position that requires travel up to 65% of the time.

 

COMPENSATION:  The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

The successful Resident Director of Experience will:

  • Collaborate with the senior client community directors and Aramark SeniorLIFE+ VPO and RDO to develop and refine the Engagement Standards of Excellence (SOE), supporting our comprehensive training program for implementation across client communities.
  • Partner with Aramark SeniorLIFE+ community management teams to design, implement, and enhance engagement programs aiming to boost community spirit and resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough research within and outside the industry to spearhead the advancement of our engagement programs, ensuring Aramark SeniorLIFE+ remains at the cutting edge of senior living initiatives.
  • Oversee, update, and monitor the success and participation rates of engagement activities in each community through our resident survey system.
  • Establish communication protocols for effectively disseminating engagement opportunities to all residents.
  • Coordinate with the Dining Services and Culinary Departments to align food and beverage offerings with engagement and marketing events.
  • Assist each community in planning and managing their engagement budgets to align with organizational goals.
  • Standardize and disseminate newsletters, calendars, and flyers for community-wide events and information in coordination with peer marketing roles.
  • Oversee the implementation and training for engagement initiatives, enhancing collateral, digital and in-person communication within communities.
  • Develop annual and quarterly strategies aimed at boosting customer satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

In order to be prepared for this role, qualified candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in management, hospitality, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years in a Senior Living or Hospitality/Resident Care Service Environment of comparable operational volume.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff. Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing successful programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of Directors, Managers and Leaders
  • Must be able to efficiently utilize MS Office Suite products to accomplish work tasks (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
