Job Description

Aventura Catering is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Part-Time Marketing Admin to join our dynamic team. We cater to a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conventions, offering unique and customized experiences. As a Marketing Admin, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and ensuring that our marketing materials align with the high standards of our company and those of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Work: Create visually compelling designs using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva for various marketing materials, including informational signage, posters, and digital content.
  • Social Media: Capture and edit photos and videos for social media platforms. Manage and schedule posts, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with our brand and client expectations.
  • Content Creation: Write and design newsletters, ensuring they are informative, visually appealing, and aligned with our branding.
  • Special Projects: Assist with unique projects such as printing designs on cookies and coffee, creating digital signage, using a laser to produce custom gifts, and editing signage according to strict brand guidelines of various companies.
  • Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling, organizing files, and assisting with event logistics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our events team to ensure marketing materials meet the specific needs of each event, adhering to the themes or guidelines of our clients.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
  • Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with photography and videography is a plus.
  • Familiarity with laser cutting and other creative technologies is an advantage.
  • Passion for innovation and creativity, with a willingness to take on new challenges.

Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible hours, depending on the needs of upcoming events.
