Job Description

Provides campus wide support to Aramark’s management team at their account to ensure all administrative processes and procedures are implemented and followed in order to exceed client expectations.  Operates within the scope of both Aramark and client regulations and policies, and in accordance with the union Collective Bargaining Agreement. Reports to a Resident District Manager and has daily contact with client leadership. On the other hand, will work within a Housekeeping Services leadership team providing support to the entire campus. Furthermore, will work directly with client to identify their needs and ensure processes and procedures are created and followed to meet those needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides additional operational analysis as needed
  • Assists in providing project management support when needed
  • Handles all client IT related issues including but not limited to Kronos, Email, etc.
  • Orders all manager business cards as managers are hired or change positions
  • Responsible for the ordering of all office supplies
  • Held responsible as the account’s financial controller
  • Maintains the client’s employee discipline system
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing all Aramark employee time in Kronos
  • Manages the client’s employee overtime management system
  • Responsible for coordinating the process to obtain new employee ID’s and adding their access
  • Assists in coordinating all potential new hire interviews
  • Assists in managing the senior leaders’ calendars
  • Manages all employee files including both client employees and Aramark employees
  • Responsible for managing payroll
  • Maintains and updates Aramark organizational charts and contact lists as needed
  • Responsible for making all employee related announcements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field with or 3+ years’ experience housekeeping operations environment required. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical for regular daily correspondence, report generating, customer relations interactions, and training.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills required.  Ability and willingness to ‘have the tough conversations’ where necessary and hold to others accountable.
  • Technical knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning procedures, and project activities also required. 
  • Experience overseeing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled staff is required. Experience in a union environment strongly preferred. 
  •  Strong financial analysis are necessary. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is highly desirable. 
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with common IT package including – Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) – as well as capacity to learn and fully utilize the departmental time and attendance keeping system.
  • Willing and able to spend a significant portion of the day walking large areas of responsibility to actively monitor work in progress.
