On Call Cashier, other duties as assigned.

This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This position is an on-call role, meaning the employee will be notified if work is needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash.
• Greet and assist students/customers while ensuring they have a reimbursable meal.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, running daily reports.
• Adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand and be knowledgeable on offer vs server and what make a reimbursable breakfast and lunch.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on each location’s duties.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Ensure a la cart snacks are stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
• Assist with cleaning tables, and trash removal as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with food prep-production as requested and any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•    Food Service Certificate as needed
•    Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
•    Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
