The Business Analyst position will support Aramark’s Global Business Services (GBS) by assisting in the continuous improvement of business processes.  By serving as a subject matter expert in the functional areas of GBS, the Business Analyst will help to identify opportunities for improvement in the existing business processes. They will then collaborate with business, technical, and operations stakeholders to blueprint potential future business processes and work closely with the functional areas to ensure successful implementation of new and revised business processes.  In addition, the Business Analyst will assist, plan and execute various data collection and report analytic efforts that enhance GBS capabilities and provide strategic knowledge to the leadership team.




Develop business requirements to implement new and/or modified processes and complete general business analysis and process mapping activities


Support continuous improvement programs across multiple functions to drive efficiency and customer engagement


Work autonomously to conduct complex business analysis, procedure mapping, business requirements gathering, and process designs to address business opportunities/issues and develop formal recommendations for presentation to PMO team members and management


Design, implement, and monitor the progress of business analysis and procedural initiatives including milestones to ensure timeliness and deliverables are achieved


Provide updates to business leadership regarding business analysis deliverables and the application and implementation of new or revised processes


Manage workload intake model and portfolio for GBS PMO activities


Provides input to and assists in development of metric reporting for projects and GBS functional areas as needed


Determines operational objectives by studying business process requirements; gathering information including present-state activities, current process/system limitations, etc.; and evaluating output requirements and formats




Facilitates and captures business requirements in most appropriate fashion based on the types of information being documented; including workflow charts and diagrams; use case specifications, swim-lanes, Venn diagrams, etc.

Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users

Serves as a proxy, when necessary, for the end-user of the solution – evaluating and testing solutions on their behalf

Foster an environment of continuous improvement

Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above



Training development and delivery experience

High level of organizational skills

Comfort with most common requirements/data presentation techniques including Venn diagrams, swim-lane diagrams, use cases, Pareto charts, heat mappings, etc.

Understanding of systems engineering concepts

The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis

Business case development

Modeling techniques and methods

Strong communication and facilitation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong attention to detail

Analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers

Comfort in presenting information to a wide range of stakeholders including executive-level staff

Ability to deal with customers in a friendly, courteous, timely and thorough manner

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines

Ability to work effectively when independent or as part of a team




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or a Related Field Required
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) a Strong Plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt a Strong Plus



3+ years Business Experience Required

1+ year Business Analyst/Process Improvement Experience Required
