Position Summary: The Raft Driver employee drives a Raft delivery truck. Drivers in this position may transport supplies and other goods. Drivers are required to operate an efficient, consistent, safe and timely service.


Essential Functions:
• Must complete a daily vehicle inspection form prior to driving
• Ensure a pleasant and clean atmosphere is maintained in the vehicle at all times
• Utilize all safety equipment available and always wear seat belt when driving
• Drivers are required to drive defensively, safely and cautiously at all times and in all situations
• Often drivers are the first contact a guest may have with the company so it is important they make an outstanding first impression
• Exceptional customer service skills are needed when encountering guests to ensure a positive representation of Yosemite and Aramark is demonstrated at all times
• Drivers are required to use a company vehicle to haul rafts from the water
• Identify maintenance and safety issues and take the correct steps to correct them
• Maintain a positive attitude, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
• Load and unload rafts into and out of the truck
• Assist in inflating and deflating rafts
• Assist in fixing any holes or problems that arise with the Rafts
• Share innovative ideas to improve efficiency and operations
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
• Report to work on time and in complete uniform
• Other duties as assigned


Status and Scope: The Driver reports to Rafting Manager


• Must be age 21 years or older
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
• Must have a valid Driver License (a CDL is not required for this position) with a clean driving record showing 3 years of prior safe driving
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test


Equipment Used: Company Vehicle, Walkie-Talkie, Commercial Dryer, Hand Truck, Commercial Washing Machine, Other Machinery and Equipment


Travel Requirements: Little or no travel required (less than 10%)
