Administrative/HR Recruiting Coordinator – 6 Mounth Contract


Job Summary: This Administrative position will give experience and exposure to various aspects of Human Resources with emphasis in the areas recruitment and hiring within Aramark Corrections Food Service Operations in state of Indiana. Furthermore, offering opportunity to be a part of a global company and obtaining visibility and exposure to a variety career avenues in our organization.


Goals for Aramark Indiana DOC

  • Generate an increase in applicants
  • Improve the quality of the candidate pool
  • Assist with meeting IDOC contractual staff requirement with increased efforts

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for day to day Recruitment functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, and training
  • Proactively search, identify, and qualify all potential candidates
  • Attract highly qualified individuals by creative measures to include media outlets, job fairs and local  advertising
  • Screen applicants, conduct phone-based interviews to evaluate and summarize relevant skills and experience, coordinate on-site interviews
  • Provide insight on market trends and strategies to the District Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager
  • Complete other tasks as assigned
  • Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years work experience in food service
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Work Environment: Unit offices, back-of-house. Involves repetitive motion.
