Provide day-to-day oversight and management of Aramark’s Facility Services at a single site or multiple locations. This individual will act as the interface between Aramark, the local client and employees responsible for maintenance, EVS and other services provided at the facility (including electrical, mechanical, custodial services, and all other aspects of facility operation). This position will ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly, will ensure that contractors are delivering quality services, and will make sure that all internal customer demands are being met. This individual will work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and will work outside of the box with team members to improve efficiency and implement new systems and procedures as identified.  .  The Reliability Maintenance Manager must possess a working / hands on knowledge of facilities maintenance, repair and utilities


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensures that all work is performed in a safe manner and that all safety standards are followed
  • Train team on procedures, standards and technical training related to operations and maintenance.
  • Track and manage all maintenance and repair needs and requests
  • Ability to operate all equipment according to procedures.
  • Analyze and resolve problems within the facility.
  • Plan, organize and direct workload for maintenance and EVS employees
  • Develop and train staff in maintenance and EVS practices and processes.
  • Make recommendations and financial justifications to modify or replace equipment when necessary to support demand or improve efficiency.
  • Work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and will work outside of the box with team members to improve efficiency and implement new strategies.
  • Supervise sub-contractors and ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and
    emergency repairs are scheduled and performed.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of facilities and equipment
  • Manage work orders.
  • Act as an escalation point as required for team members.


Job Requirements:


Education:     An undergraduate degree in an appropriate technical field preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Facilities Manager.


Skills:      very good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, Uninterruptable Power Supply systems (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)/Static Transfer Switch (SST) units, Power Distribution Unit PDU/Power Management Module (PMM) units, chillers, air handling units, fire suppression systems and building control systems.

An ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in a data center environment.


A great attitude with internal customers and external parties, excellent written and verbal communications skills, stellar Internet and computing skills, and the ability to provide leadership and oversight to the facilities team employed at the data center.


The ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day-or-night.


A willingness to provide on call support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues at the facility. 

Previous management and project management experience.
