The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the repair and maintenance functions for the property facilities. In addition, this position ensures that the property curb appeal standards are met by supervising the Grounds Keeping department.
Coordinates and participates in the maintenance work of Zephyr Cove Resort and other related facilities.
Assigns duties to maintenance and grounds crew. Assigns maintenance cell phone for night call in coverage.
Displays proficiency in supervising employees.
Advises subordinates as to solutions to problems and to materials used.
Assist the Fleet Services Manager in controlling the overtime budget.
Makes recommendations for supplies and equipment for purchases to Fleet Services Manager.
Instructs subordinates as to how to perform their duties correctly.
Instructs subordinates on safety procedures and health hazards.
Gives warnings, both verbal and written, to subordinates when required.
Complies with directions and instructions from Fleet Services Manager and performs other tasks and assumes such responsibility as may be assigned.
Maintains positive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the conduct of company business and demonstrates team work in daily activities.
Is prompt, timely, and thorough in completing assignments and attending to details accurately and efficiently.
Meets attendance standards and complies with notification procedures for absences.
Provides complete and accurate information in the conduct of company business.
Maintains confidentiality in the conduct of district business.
Complies with ARAMARK policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
Follows the daily work schedule and makes good use of time. Assist with the time management when needed.
High school diploma or GED
Five years verifiable on-the-job experience as a service man
Must maintain current Driver License.
Must be able to read and work from scaled drawings.
Demonstrates the ability to work and get along with people.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work occasional overtime.
Must be computer literate. Must be able to schedule employees and follow designated spending budget.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
Ability to prove eligibility to work in the Unites States.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
