IT Support Specialist - Fenway Park


Position Summary: The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and support of multiple networks, PC's, laptops, Point Of Sale System and Software.
Essential Functions:

  • Providing first line of support and ensuring smooth system operation at all times.
  • Responsible for maintenance, inventory and proper storage for all on-site POS equipment.
  • Assist with equipment setup before and after events. Ensure that all POS workstations are on network and properly functioning.
  • Provide event day support. Assisting with any network, POS, or PC issues that arise.
  • Responsible for training and assisting end user on proper POS usage.
  • Help manage system upgrades and data migration.
  • Work with management team to ensure all POS programming and pricing is correct.
  • Provided solutions and feedback to management POS requests.
  • Managing digital signage content, working closely with the management team on uploading new content and troubleshooting any connectivity issues.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned




Prior experience and understanding of  Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel.
Equipment Used:
Telephone, Calculator,Photocopier,MICROS POS System, Computer, Fax Machine
Travel Requirements:   Little or No Travel (>10%)
Lifting Requirements: 
LIGHT - Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds
