This individual is responsible for maintaining and analyzing the purchasing information in the computerized ARATRACK IQ system.  Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing distribution data, performing ongoing assessment/correction of data, and acting as a liaison with national distributors to ensure the accuracy of information received.


  • Analyze and validate data being received from a select amount of vendors.  Analyze the accuracy of the data by comparing the information with our Accounts Payable system.  Work with the vendors to ensure the data is reported accurately and timely.
  • Maintain and code the purchasing information in the ARATRACK IQ system.  Code particular manufacturer products to master items in the system.  Create and track products within the system.  Work with manufacturers to ensure ARAMARK has the most up-to-data information and the products are coded correctly.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure master data is structured properly for NVD calculations, competing product reporting, contract price analysis and ad hoc reporting purpose.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Manager, Data and Information.
  • Adheres to departmental policies, procedures, practices and standards.


Position reports to the Manager, Data and Information. Position maintains and analyzes the purchasing information in the computerized ARATRACK IO system. Position utilizes considerable judgment and discretion in performing its duties. The position requires interface with internal contacts (Information Analysts, Category Managers, RDMs, Contract Analysts, AP, IT) and external contacts (manufacturers and distributors).


This position requires a 2-year degree or equivalent.  Strong data entry skills are necessary.  Knowledge of ARAMARK or previous foodservice experience is a plus.  Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with superior analytical ability are essential.  Proficiency in operating a PC is required with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.  Knowledge of an ad hoc reporting system would be helpful.
