This individual is responsible for maintaining and analyzing the purchasing information in the computerized ARATRACK IQ system. Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing distribution data, performing ongoing assessment/correction of data, and acting as a liaison with national distributors to ensure the accuracy of information received.
Position reports to the Manager, Data and Information. Position maintains and analyzes the purchasing information in the computerized ARATRACK IO system. Position utilizes considerable judgment and discretion in performing its duties. The position requires interface with internal contacts (Information Analysts, Category Managers, RDMs, Contract Analysts, AP, IT) and external contacts (manufacturers and distributors).
This position requires a 2-year degree or equivalent. Strong data entry skills are necessary. Knowledge of ARAMARK or previous foodservice experience is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with superior analytical ability are essential. Proficiency in operating a PC is required with strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of an ad hoc reporting system would be helpful.
