Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize the customer experience by maintaining a safe and positive work environment for the parasail staff and guests. This person will ensure the highest level of customer service, safety, quality and consistency while at all times driving sales and controlling costs. This person must also maintain the parasail fleet to the highest quality while minimizing all hazards and dangers related to parasailing. 
 Essential Functions:
  • Maintains amicable attitude toward guests and employees at all times
  • Effectively communicates with office supervisor to coordinate parasail flights
  • Maintains clean work area on the parasail boat and in storage areas
  • Notify and work with the maintenance shop as needed to maintain the parasail boat in a safe working order
  • Ensures parasail schedule stays on time
  • Performs opening and closing side work as needed
  • Performs job duties in a safe manner and follows company safety policies and procedures
  • Supervises and performs safe gassing procedures for the parasail in accordance to safety standards
  • Inspects, maintains and keeps records of all activity related to the parasail boat
  • Safely operates parasail boat through the marina in an appropriate manner and speed. Trains Parasail deckhands to perform job tasks in an efficient, organized, and safe manner
  • Helps out in other areas of that marina when not operating the parasail boat
Status and Scope:
This position reports to the Marina Manager and Marina Supervisor and must be able to work with diverse workforce and apply all policies and procedures to this population.

  • Must have a 6 pax captains license
  • Must have up to date CPR & First Aid certification
  • Must have 2 years customer service experience
  • Preferred 1 -2 years supervisor experience
  • Must be able to work outside in the sun for 8 hours
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License and pass a Motor Vehicle Record history check
  • Willing to participate in the random drug/alcohol testing pool

Little or No Travel (>10%)
Lifting Requirements:
MEDIUM – Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 pounds
