Job Summary: Our Reservations & Guest Services staff provide the first line of customer service to our valued guests: answering phones, selling cruise passes, and ringing up retail and refreshments. This position caters to guest needs throughout our boarding area, including pouring and selling beverages from our landing bar. If you love people, can smile over the phone, and are willing to learn our reservations and retail systems, then join the fun and enjoy beautiful lake views while you work.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
This position is subject to pre-employment, random, and post-accident/reasonable suspicion drug testing compliant with federal Coast Guard regulations. This includes screening for marijuana and other federally regulated substances.
Must meet state regulations for alcohol serving age
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have or be willing to obtain a Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler's Safety Training Card
Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Training Card
Must have or be able to obtain current non-gaming Clark County Work Card
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office software and internet browser, with ability to learn industry-specific software
Excellent organizational, problem solving, complaint resolution, and multi-tasking skills
Self-motivated and quick to learn
Ability to work in fast-paced, busy environment
Flexible scheduling required – may be scheduled for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6 months or more in customer service, hospitality, sales, or call center experience
