Alcohol Compliance Supervisor

 

Job Summary:  The hourly supervisor oversees the operations of their location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations; facility is clean; employees are properly trained; and, customers are satisfied with their service.  The supervisor assists in managing the staff and plays a large role in the ability to maintain positive employee relations and a positive team environment.

 

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Make sure staff is adhering to minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages and following safe drinking guidelines when serving customers
  • Assist bartenders with checking patrons’ identifications when necessary
  • Perform multiple random identification checks during the course of the event
  • Able to respond to guest complaints regarding alcohol service at any time during the event
  • Be able to notice at risk alcohol situations and stop them before they occur
  • Assist in checking process prior to starting Alcohol Compliance duties

     

Additional Job Functions:

 

 

  • Cross-train at other positions in the location
  • Work at other stations and in other departments as necessary
  • Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the ARAMARK management team.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees and directs staff to ensure timely and effective service of customers. 

 

Work Environment:

 

  • Front-of-house and/or back-of-house
  • Occasionally inside kitchen area and or dish room; including interaction with heated equipment, steam, loud noises, chemical products, and other at risk conditions.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

 

 

  • Able to work long shifts including weekdays, late nights, holidays and weekends
  • Able to work on one’s feet for long periods of time
  • Must be a team player
  • TABC Certification
  • Prior supervisory experience

     

Desired Qualifications:

 

 

  • Experience in food service industry
  • Courtesy and tact in dealing with guests, co-workers, as well as others in the college community
