Position Objective

 

This Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team that will assist in redesigning our planning /forecasting processes, design and implement new systems, support budget owners, suggest recommendations for effectiveness and improve our Company’s financial performance.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Project management activities
  • Data analysis for complex cost packages
  • Identify and capture savings opportunities
  • Track savings and key metrics within the assigned cost packages
  • Support preparation of monthly materials for Budget Center Owner meetings (trend and outlier analysis)
  • Work with Business Unit finance support to understand monthly variances and individual account nuances
  • Understand business drivers of cost packages and develop driver-based model for budgeting costs
  • Assist in the development, testing, implementation and ongoing maintenance of IT system
  • Develop standard reporting to be provided to Sr. Leadership

 

 



Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Statistics required. MBA a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience with increasing responsibility required
  • Ability to assess trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Work effectively with people from a wide variety of departments
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a plus
  • Self-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong drive, great work ethic, aptitude for problem solving and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Team-oriented with the ability to contribute in a hands-on manner
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • A positive attitude, personal integrity, discretion and candor
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to make things happen with limited supervision
