Core Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide financial support for the Higher Education and Healthcare Hospitality financial planning and analysis activities. The financial analyst is responsible for conducting and compiling moderate to complex financial analysis projects. The role will primarily be focused on the maintenance, standardization, and improvement of the financial reporting for the Education Sector.

 

Specific job duties include:

  • Prepares various monthly financial reports
  • Assists Sr. Financial Analysts with complex financial analyses
  • Consolidates, analyzes, and submits the weekly flash
  • Compile monthly variance analyses to forecast and prior periods
  • Serves as functional administrator for “inSight” and other centrally managed applications
  • Assist in preparation of data for Operating Review, Business Plan, and Strategic Plan Presentations
  • Assigned special projects and analyses needed by the VP of Finance, Finance AVP, and Director of FP&A

 



Qualifications:
  • Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree: Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate a number of projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, the ability to influence without formal authority, sound judgment, the ability to learn quickly, and the ability to adapt to new situations and interface with Sr. Management
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software and operating systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
