Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will be required to count money, make cash register banks and deposits, reconcile safe and will have additional responsibilities that involve cash handling and revenue reporting
  • Will report daily boat deposit liability
  • Will enter data in excel and other software programs
  • Will be responsible for the daily operations of the retail store and marina
  • Ensure that boats, docks and the marina and market facilities are well-maintained and safe
  • Will supervise and train market and marina employees
  • Will supervise the renting of boats and ensure boaters understand and observe all marine rules
  • Will monitor boat maintenance and records to include tag/title/registration expiration
  • Will reconcile monthly Game and Fish reports
  • Will communicate with managers, co-workers and employees via email, telephone and in person
  • Will be required to work with and develop good relationships with a diverse group of employees, managers, vendors and clients
  • Work closely with employees to facilitate an pleasant work environment

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all other additional duties assigned



Minimum Education Required:

  • High School or equivalent

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Must have experience working around boats
  • One (1) year of customer service experience


Minimum Skills/Aptitudes Required:

  • Must be able to count money and inventory
  • Must interact and possess communication skills with individuals at all levels of organization, as well as clients, vendors and sub-contractors
  • Attention to detail is required

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Must possess flexibility towards work assignments and be a team player
  • Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively in writing
  • Must possess motivation and initiative to perform assigned duties with a minimum of direct supervision
