Description:

Job Summary:  The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual media to communicate marketing ideas and needs.  This individual works closely with the Marketing Manager, and Production Manager or Location Manager to offer creative solutions and high quality work to marketing challenges.

 

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating the goals and needs of the marketing department
  • Complete projects in a timely manner
  • Participate in monthly conference calls with fellow regional designers
  • Design corporate business reports
  • Maintain relations and good communication with local printers, photographers and other specialists
  • Create logo design or branding
  • Develop residential hall campaigns, operations posters, flyers, promotional items, specialty graphics (i.e. decals, magnets, yard signs, etc.)

 

Additional Job Functions:

  • Develop creative solutions to marketing challenges
  • Promote a positive working environment

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibilities.

 



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and understand directions
  • Must be able to understand safety rules, ARAMARK Alcohol Regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to interface with all levels of management

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates or  Bachelor’s Degree  
  • 1 - 2 years work experience in graphic design
  • Knowledge of printer maintenance

Travel Requirements: 

Little or No Travel (>10%)
