The Aramark Enterprise Systems Development team is seeking an IT Lead Engineer to contribute to emerging business opportunities and strategic priorities in the Supply Chain Management and Finance areas. Through collaboration with business and IT leadership, this individual will define and deliver technology solutions through disciplined project initiation and execution with a focus on high visibility, highly transformational, and complex initiatives.
This individual will lead the design of new systems, processes, data stores, and analytics solutions to both customer-facing and internal audiences in support of Aramark’s Group Purchasing business. This position will have a primary and extensive focus on data architecture, data integration, and data warehousing using best in class enterprise platforms and toolsets to deliver robust and scalable business solutions.
This position will be accountable for ensuring the disciplined definition and execution of transformational projects that address opportunities and strategic imperatives within the business and marketplace. The successful candidate will establish a trusted partnership with business and IT leaders, acting as a key advisor to help define and deliver on the technology roadmap.

I. Technical Expertise
Recognized as a leader in the design and execution of business solutions, demonstrating a broad understanding of the applications and technical architectures. Demonstrates expert understanding of applications development processes, serving as a resource to others. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of leading edge technologies and plans for the future of a technology and/or applications area. Evaluates the applicability of leading edge technologies and uses this information to significantly influence future IT and/or business strategy. Brings technical and/or business systems knowledge from external sources and incorporates those ideas into IT.
II. Industry Knowledge/Emerging Technologies
Demonstrates an understanding of the changing business needs for the line-of-business supported and the impact these changes have on their service area. Advises clients on business problems, formulates options including assessing their relative merits and risks, and works with clients to determine the best solution. Builds and maintains up-to-date knowledge about ARAMARK’s processes, strategies and industry trends to ensure efficient and timely provision of services. Leverages solutions to and from other lines of business and shares best practices.
III. Communication and Client Interaction
Able to effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences, including senior management, the user community, and less-experienced staff. Leads the development of effective networks of internal and external customers, suppliers, the technical community, and consultants.
IV. Problem Solving/Decision Making
Can completely assess the most complex systems and models. This typically involves large, interdependent systems, new technologies, and broad implications for the IT architecture. Solves technical and project/process management problems that may have not been encountered previously in the organization, leverages learnings and experiences of other IT staff. Can assess the most complex systems and models. Can analyze complex business and competitive issues and discern their implications for the organization. Researches future trends in applications technologies and provides technical leadership to strategic applications architecture planning.
V. Project Life Cycle Management
Acts as a key technical advisor to project teams, providing unique insights, new research and novel approaches.
