Director of Operational Excellence – Food & Beverage for Sports & Entertainment.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

 

Director of Operational Excellence – Business Sports & Entertainment will be responsible to:

  • Lead/coordinate the training, implementation, monitoring/measurement and progress communication of OpX standards and processes throughout the S&E LOB
  • Lead the implementation, training, monitoring/measuring and progress communication of the S&E Executional Excellence platforms
  • Oversee the Sr. Managers, Operational Excellence to ensure alignment to LOB/Enterprise initiatives and priorities
  • Act as primary liaison with LOB President and Regional Leadership for all productivity, operational and OpX initiatives
  • Direct the identification and development of new projects, standards, processes and cost/quality improvement initiatives

 

POSITION ATTRIBUTES

 

The ideal candidate for Director Operational Excellence – Sports & Entertainment will:

  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for leadership, communication skills, personnel development and training 
  • Have multi-level operations experience
  • Have an understanding of corporate hierarchy and corporate support divisions
  • Be willing to travel up to 50 – 75% of the time, weekends included
  • Exhibit an aptitude and track record of being able to “influence others without formal authority”
  • Project a high level of maturity and leadership skills
  • Manage projects to meet objective, budget and timeline goals

 

POSITION STATUS AND SCOPE:

  • Reports to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, SLCDK12
  • Interfaces with field operations, regional staff, LOB support functions, and COE resources

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of operations leadership experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, leadership and communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • People development experience
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work in a dynamic fluid environment and effectively cope with change


Qualifications:
