Responsibilities:

 

The Administrative Associate at Aramark you will report directly to the Resident District Manager at the University of Delaware.

 

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage Administrative calendar for Senior Staff
  • Travel and meeting planning and coordination
  • Maintain and distribute dining publications
  • Maintain and reconcile University expense card
  • Process and reconcile employee parking expense
  • Process and reconcile University liquor and gathering licenses
  • Process liquor invoices
  • Process student dining appeals, support University policies and maintain appeal database.
  • Primary dining contact for University students, parents, and staff
  • Process payroll for Administrative employees
  • Process payroll for University employees- Union hourly positions
  • HR Liaison for University employees
  • Coordinate dining tours for campus visitors, process tour payments
  • Draft and distribute correspondence for Clients, Front Line Managers and Senior Management
  • Special assignments as assigned by the Resident District Manager
  • Presentation preparation and aggregation
  • Creating business letters and memorandums

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required, an Associate’s degree is preferred; with 5-7 years of administrative work experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Skilled in capturing thoughts and ideas from supervisors and effectively communicate
  • Ability to anticipate needs
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation are essential
  • Must be a self-starter, well organized and detail oriented
  • Must have ability to multi-task, exercise independent judgment and show initiative
  • Must be able to set and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment, and manage multiple priorities while working independently
  • Excellent command of oral and written communication skills necessary
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) required
