Position Summary:

The groomers drive the snowcats in conjunction with the ZCR Snowmobile operation. The primary function is to groom the 40 mile network of trails used for the Snowmobile Ops. The snowcats are rated as heavy equipment, the snowcats blade fresh snow, and tow various implements to smooth out the trails. This work is mostly done at night, when tours are not on the mountain.

  • Reports to Lead Groomer and Lead Mountain Supervisor.
  • Heavy Equipment experience required.
  • Must be willing to work evening shifts.
  • Must be detailed oriented and exhibit patience.
  • Must be comfortable working alone in various weather conditions

Essential Functions:

  • Drive snowcats with accompanying pieces of towable equipment, detailing and grooming trails.
  • Keep trails open during periods of storms or snowfall utilizing available equipment.
  • Move snow by snowcats to sparsely covered areas of trail network.
  • Perform and document daily maintenance routine on snowcats.
  • Assist Mountain Team with operational logistics when needed.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe manner.
  • Upholds all guest service standards.
  • Abides by and upholds all Aramark policies.



  • 2 years heavy equipment experience required
  • Prior grooming experience preferred
  • Reliable winter transportation
  • Must have a clean DOT driving record
  • Must possess and maintain a valid and current US driver’s license to operate motor vehicles
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record history check (MVR)

Equipment Used:
Telephone, hand-held radio, company motor vehicles, various power tools and maintenance-related equipment, SnoCat, Radio

Travel Requirements:
Little or No Travel (>10%)

Lifting Requirements:
MEDIUM - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
